Also the very strong team from Switzerland have finished their selectionraces for WOC 2007. Simone Niggli-Luder won both middle and long last year, and has a total of 12 gold medals from WOC. She will surely be a big favorite this year again.

The men's team is a younger team, with both Marc Lauenstein and Daniel Hubmann contenders for a gold medal. Lauenstein won silver on the long distance both in 2005 and 2006.
